Early nights and Echinacea tea

Feeling under the weather and far from home comforts is a harder part of a residency. Friday was tough; tired, I left early, felt unable to cook but needed to eat – too weary to go out again. The worst part: dropping the laptop getting out of the car. Yesterday feeling like I should be feeling better Liz took me visiting muscle and salmon farms, told lovely stories: how one might turn an old caravan into ‘bait’ for a trawler, plus a fish trap (or weir), or is that a gair or a caraidh? All fascinating, and all the winding wild way, plenty weather.

And now unfortunately that feeling of exhaustion setting in again, and the dawning realisation I have left my coat in the back of her car.OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
